Fun fact:

If you put all the parts for a Legacy Southern Pacific AC-9 into a cart, to try and assemble the locomotive from parts (a la "kit" form) you only save a couple hundred bucks over the cost of the locomotive NIB. That's with the 50% discount.

There goes my grand money saving idea .
