5VDC board for chuff gererator | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

When using ERR cruise M without the super chuffer what do you use for the 5VDC power needed for the Chuff Generator? I know GRJ does not sell his 5volt power board.

If you need one, I think I can manage that. It's not a standard product as usually it's used with the Super-Chuffer.

You can, of course, simply hack one together on perf-board, it's a simple design. Obviously, it wouldn't be surface mount if you make it that way. The 78xxCT would be a 7805CT, the diode is a generic diode like a 1N4003, etc.
