Alas, my Berkshire smoke engine is doing more than creating smoke. It's glowing a bright cherry red. I immediately took it out of service before it burned out completely. Looking at the parts list I don't see an easy fix. Is it time to replace the smoke engine (if available)?
Seems like all my engines have developed problems of late. My TMCC Mikado has thrown a rod and my TMCC GP-9 is generating lot's of smoke (without a smoke engine).
