In the back of this hobby shop there are shelves with very small holes in them. I'm presuming it's for something to be displayed there.
Mine did not come with whatever's supposed to be there.
Anyone know where I can get a set of what's supposed to be there?

There was supposed to be trains on the shelves. This was another "oops" by Lionel.
Try a forum search as this was discussed when these were originally released.
I don't think Lionels parts dept. Has the trains.
I'm not sure what alternatives folks came up with.

Before I made this post I did a search on 6-85294 and Lionelville Hobby Shop and found nothing. What other words would you suggest I search using?
Heres the thread Paul. No real concrete solutions to the missing trains (i.e. getting them from Lionel) but a few ideas.

Guess they'll just go on missing. So sad.
Lionel never produced trains for the shelves nor made them available for later purchase. I purchased dollhouse trains from Hobby Lobby that were larger than O scale, but I used them to represent G scale on one shelf. For the other shelf, I formed small rectangles from soft wood and painted them to look like boxcars.

I hate to say it, but it looks like Lionel is looking to save a buck anywhere they can. I honestly believe they’re deliberately listing features in the catalog and then removing them under their blanket CYA line hidden within the catalog. Let’s see, passenger figures included, NOT! LED lighting in the Vision baggage car, NOT! I’m seeing a pattern of convenient money saving omissions! It’s too bad because guys like Dave and Ryan pour there heart and soul into their efforts!
