Sunday July 8....Bristol (or Johnson City) to Knoxville, TN. One way with bus return.
These will be the only such public trips offered in Southwest Virginia and upper East Tennessee in 2012 and are not expected to be repeated. Cost of ticket (seating in air-conditioned coaches with rest rooms) is $80 per seat for Trip 1 (Pulaski, VA to Bristol, TN) and $80 per seat for Trip 2 (Bristol, VA./Johnson City, TN to Knoxville, TN). Ticket price includes coach seat, box lunch and seat on returning bus. Children ages 2 and under who will ride on the lap of a parent or guardian do not need a ticket. Support your local steam program. The better the response, the more likely that future trips will be operated, which would possibly include having 765 operate passenger excursions over NS in the future as Rich alluded to. This should be some very good riding. The Bristol line is VERY scenic, and might just be the most scenic public excursion offered this year.
