Haven't used my system for awhile. I replaced the batteries in the remote and the info comes up.(ie train #'s, Crane,etc.) Maybe I'm missing a step but I have the ZW-l on the 990 on and I cant get the tracks to power up. I put he assigned # in hit Aux 1 set the power handle for the lever A to 14 v and then turn the power knob on the 990 up but no power on the meter of the ZW-L. Am I missing a step?? Thank you, Nick

Is the ZW-L switch set to conventional?
Is the ZW-L assigned as an ENG or TR? Make sure you are using the appropriate ID prefix.

Did you get it working and if so what was the solution. It always help in case others have the same issue.
I'm curious too! I'm using the 990 with a New ZWL and have never had a problem, unlike what I experienced with the ZWC

My ZWC has been good, with later model manufacturing and updated firmware.
You are Lucky, the Firmware to correct the Problems with the ZWC is NO Longer Available!!!
I never Had a Problem with my ZWC's until I moved 90 Miles away!!!
