The Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Museum in Baltimore MD has several very old locomotives. None were mentioned in the article, which I found rather interesting.
There is nomention of ATSF 3751 or N&W 4-8-4 and possibly others.

How about the two 1881 Baldwin C-19s at Knott's Berry Farm??
I thought the locomotive used in Petticoat Junction was the oldest still running.

Nope. Sierra Ry. No. 3 was built in 1891.
