Hello everyone,

I just purchased this Lionel Dreyfus Hudson a few weeks ago, and the sound was great but I wanted it even better. So I purchased two fat boy speakers from box car bill and the sound is just incredible.Had to make new mounting holes for the fat boy speakers, and also had to file down the rear tender light bracket.  The bass is so deep it sounds like a real engine is in front of me.

This engine comes with a puffer unit, I was going to upgrade it to a fan driven unit. But I would have to relocate some circuit boards, wiring and also make a bracket system to support the fan driven unit. Way to much work, so I was thinking how can I get this puffer unit to push smoke higher out of the stack. I figured if I built up the push arm that pushes the piston, that would give me higher smoke out of the stack. So I took some JB steel stik weld and added it the the push arm, it was trail and error until I got it just right. I didn't know if this was going to work, but it worked out great. Also if you decide to do this make sure you put a little grease on top of the JB Weld.

When you watch the video's use external speakers or ears phones, you will be able to here the deep bass better

Thanks for looking, and enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Alex      Sorry for the shaking video's it's the nerve damage in my hands
