Saw this picture the other day and thought that this is what you would get if you crossed a Denver & Rio Grande loco with one from the Nickel Plate Road RR.  Anyone else agree?    What do you think, would you buy a model of this?  I kind of wonder what it would look like as an RS-3 or SW.  (Might look cool!)  Anyone know whether the real short-line has either of those?

For a while, Pacific Harbor Lines (the original Isle of Denial Sanctuary) was using retro paint schemes on their locomotives. When they went through a low-emissions rebuilding program and acquired some Gensets, they switched over to the ATSF Zebra Stripe scheme for everything. For a while it was pretty nice. They had an SP Black Widow, a CNW, a couple of Conrails, and an ATSF Zebra. Instead of the fallen flag logos, they had "PHL" on the cabs and Pacific Harbor Lines on the long hood. It was nice while it lasted.
