I mistakenly posted this in the "Tinplate" forum, so I thought it best to move it here, where it (kinda) belongs.
I managed to cobble together a tender for my 2-8-0:
It is an older AHM "Casey Jones" tender, which I didn't know I had. After some careful measuring and drilling, I was able to mount some bronze-sided trucks, a Weaver coupler and useable drawbar. I realize it's a bit short (only 23 scale feet) but it looks better than the #2466 I had been using...I think.
It still needs detailing, as well as paint and decals, but for the time being, it'll do until I can locate a "proper" tender.
Hope this won't get me kicked out of the "Pennsy Fan Club".
