You've all heard of Adams & Son foundry ....how about Adam & Daughter? ..Lindsay Adams was the sole employee of Adams & Sons foundry Nov 1946- Feb 1951 providing thousands of cast bronze & alumuium parts for the O & HO Scale Model train world . Providing parts for Siebers, Dallas Model Craft , Great Western, GMC, CLW, Hines, Kurtz Kraft , etc.
Lindsay Adams did have a son ..Gilbert...but here is a photo of Lindsay with his daughter in Dec 1946.

...isn't the diesel in to photo and video an E6? I thought that, starting with the 7, (then 8 and 9) the E units had a more vertical (less slanted) nose...

The video's definitely an E6.  The photo is an E5.

I agree.  I've watch many of those videos.  Watching those pioneering models still being operational is a blast.

Hello all ...Adams "E" nose ...appears to be a tweak of a Pomona ( prewar ) nose ...which were 17/64ths ......

So the Adams E's tower over the 1/4 Walthers cars ...but will have to do till a set of Exacta or Pomona cars surface in B&O ...

(Adams E ...look really good pulling a string of Exacta cars ...made in 17/64ths) ..note Exacta cars were made both in 1/4" ...and 17/64ths ...
