I pulled my tail end ps3 engine from my 5 unit MU and added a remote coupler. It will not fire when in MU mode but will as a member engine. I dont mind rebuilding the MU lashup if it would work but hate to disturb the current settings as they have been very reliable. This a DCS 4.20 rev L setup.

Are U selecting the right facing direction when building the consist?
yes the correct coupler fires. all my MU directions and commands are correct.

Are you absolutely certain that the member engine was programmed as a tail engine, rather than as a middle engine?
no...its been probably been 10 momths since i built the MU and 3,400 scale miles.
all fixed...because engine faces backwards had to switch coupler connectors from bl/gy to the bl/br conn and didnt have to rebuild MU..thanks all

shouldn't matter which way it faces? unless the original consist had it pointing the other way?
