Adding detail to the RailKing 90407 Barn structure

I recently obtained the RailKing 30-90407 Barn (Red with Green Roof)

This is a very large structure that measures approx 10 by 15 x 8 inches. It is typical of a midwestern dairy farm structure. It has interior lighting. Retail price is $79.95.

I will be customizing the structure by adding a base and interior upper story (loft) and a "ceiling" on the first level using styrofoam board. I will also be painting the inside of the barn doors (upper and lower) to match the red paint of the exterior. The interior will also have partitions. All interior wiring will be hidden. The first level ceiling will have cross member beams added.
