So i would like to add an electronic circuit board for Bell and Whistle to a Prewar 260E loco. The 263 Tender has a lot of room. So any suggestion on a simple solution.

Two options are an Electric RR Railsounds board or a second hand Williams Tru Blast board. The latter will cost considerably less.

Williams just makes steam or diesel. I would first ask here as many replace them when they do a Command upgrade.
For electric railroad its electricrr.com. Pick a sound set most appropriate for your engine.
If you decide on a steam kit, ask if the chuff switch and magnet comes with it. They used to be but not sure now. Its just a matter of mounting a magnet on a tender wheel and locating a small switch close to it.

Chuff switch and one magnet still comes with the ERR steam RS Commander.
