I am using a ZW-C Controller with 2 of the 180w Power House, an opportunity has come up of adding 2 more at a very good price.  Currently, the layout is working great, would there be much of an advantage to adding the 2 additional for a total of 4?

Don't know that they are needed, but don't want to pass up a good opportunity.

Buy them. If nothing else, you will have spares while fixing one. I use four of them on the ZW-C and have had that experience.

Just as kind of a humorous aside, if you will, I remember when this stuff first came out and I was all into the IC Controls boxes and what they could do.  The 135 powerhouse was the gig then, and they advertised a cable that could connect two 135s to my BPC box.  Had to have it, even though my layout was two loops on a 6x9' platform.  I got my new 135 and splitter cable and was so excited to put ten times the amount of power to my track that I would ever possibly need that I hooked up the leads in reverse, instantly fried my BPC and shut me down for two weeks till the good people at IC controls could fix my fried BPC and send it back to me.  Lou was a good guy, I talked to him a couple times, he good naturedly chided me for torching his box, saying it was a first and almost impossible to do.  Well I did it.  Don't do that!
That BPC eventually lost it's track one power feed many years later.  For sure because I couldn't properly connect two wires.
