Marty was feeling a little less tired Tuesday, so after his treatment in Boston, once again Marty and I headed south to the fantastic layout of Captain John's JMX Railroad. Gerry and Sue Morlitz were also there, for a great afternoon of trains, food, and conversation.

Gerry brought a couple of engines to run (he's in the process of moving and has taken down his home layout) including his newest project by Jeff Steinbacker, the New York City Fire Engine.

Here's a video of it running:   http://youtu.be/Qojpa3vEq4o

Bus stop-

You know you're in New England when you see this:

Marty, Sue Morlitz, Captain John, Gerry Morlitz. Notice John and Gerry are wearing the New Jersey HiRailers Trainstock 6 hats!

Of course, Marion had coffee and cold drinks, and had made fresh strawberry and chocolate cream pies.

Many thanks to John and Marion for their hospitality, and Gerry and Sue for making the day

 that much more enjoyable.

That a red hot loooking locomotive. It looks pretty sharp to.And looks at home pulling a train with flatcars. With firetrucks water trucks maybe some bulldozers. And a few boxcars for fireman gear and firstad and food. And maybe a few buckcars for sleeping and resting fireman.

Just got off the phone with Marty to check up on him and make sure he and Dotty didn't rob any banks on the way back home!!  OK....just kidding as I know Marty would be more likely catching the bank robbers!!

The pictures are great and who wouldn't have a great time with that group of guys and gals.  John's layout is spectacular just like he is and someday I have to get up in that area and visit all of you.

Seaboard Streak, If you look closely at the fire scene behind the engine in the video, it is of New York City firefighters at a structure fire.

O.k. I have just looked at the video and your right. But the flashing lights on the front of the locomotive caught my eyes. That makes the locomotive even more cooler to me.
