I know there is a train show at the Albany, NY Polish Community Center on the Washington Avenue extension on Saturday 3/14. I need to know the hours of the show.

From the center's website, the hours are 9a-3p.

I went on the website , not too much info. I have family near Amsterdam NY and may be around there next weekend. How is this show? It would be about 40 miles to the show from where family is located.
It's a nice show that has had its ups and downs over the last 25+ years that i've been going to it. So far this year it seems to be on the upswing. 
You can usually do it (walk and view everything twice in two hours or less). Sometimes i've found what i'm looking for and at fair to reasonable prices; but then there are a few vendors of somewhat worn but over priced post-war Lionel that have been showing up with the same stuff for the past 25 years. I asked them a few years ago if their stuff was earning "frequent traveler miles" or did they simply rent a locker on the premises to avoid hauling it to every show? Don't think they appreciated that.
Come to Albany a day earlier and go to a great St. Patrick's Day parade!!!

Has there been any modern o there for sale before? I've noticed the post war tables that have the same thing at a lot of shows. Doesn't strike my interest
Yes, there is usually a good assortment of MTH, newer Lionel, WBB, KLine, and even Atlas, but like any show the quantities and prices vary with who has what and who has a table. Usually only one or two hobby shops at the most however.

The show is on Saturday and so is the parade.`
OOPS!! My mistake; the shows always used to be on Sundays - Now i have to make a decision
