I got 700+ emails from Verizon about 30 minutes of OGR notifications. I thought it was Verizon again but look at my profile.... it says I have 813 all of a sudden. I check them all the time.. It went from 0 to 813 in 3 minutes.

Any idea why that happened? My profile still shows 816 alerts.
Nothing changed on our end.
A lot of people have had trouble with Verizon blocking these emails. Maybe they opened the floodgates and finally allowed these emails to be delivered.
Check the dates...are they ALL from yesterday?
Yeah all show from last night. Here on OGR, if I go look at the ALERTS tab.... there is hundreds of them showing from yesterday.
I would look at dumping your verzion account and getting a Gmail or other web based email accounts. Gmail seems to be the best and does really good spam filtering.
I never had an issue with my gmail except about a month or two ago where it wouldnt send email though my Macs built in email app, but that was an issue with apple not gmail.
I've had the blocked and duplicate emails from Verizon, I understand that part.
This is NOT an issue with Verizon.
If I go look in my ALERTS Tab right now, it shows that member CapatainCog "liked" my reply to "Buying Used Locomotives" .... hundreds and hundreds of times 11 hours ago. For some reason his 1 like got stuck and filled my ALERT box with the same LIKE.... here on OGR
