I recently signed back in for the first time in a long time, due to being busy with family, school, and car trouble. All of my replies to topics are now being rejected, never happened before. What going on?

Sounds like a settings issue. Probably best to contact a moderator or site manager.

I had one rejected this morning but it was in the WTB forum so I figured they turned on the reject comments function
First...Matt: In the want to buy section, any responses by anyone first have to be approved. When one first replies in the WTB category, a notice is sent that basically says it is under review. When a moderator reviews the response, it is then usually approved. Multiple replies by the same person are rejected once one of those replies are approved.
El Classico: your responses were rejected because you are trying to communicate within a for sale post which is considered bumping thus those bumps are being deleted/rejected. Review the for sale rules within the featured topics in the for sale category.
