As I prepare for my new journey in O gauge one of the areas that is a must have on my layout is anything Allis Chalmers related. If anyone knows where I can find anything related to AC please let me know.

Thanks, Terry

For starters, this Allis Chalmers flat car (6519) was a common sight in several Lionel postwar sets.

This car was also produced in blue, and yellow, as well as orange.  Lionel also made flat cars with A/C bulldozers and road scrapers.

I actually have quite a few AC trucks and tractors, been collecting those for years. Finding buildings, signs and cars have been more of a challenge, I did see the flat car John mentioned, in fact it is the only one I have found so far, but my search just began a few days ago. I love this forum, giving me so may ideas I never dreamed of, thanks!

Updated with my email, thanks Dave didn't realized I forgot to add that

As EBT JIM commented above, First Gear made some very nice scale (1/50) AC equipment, not only the grader and scraper he mentioned, but a dozer as well. The dozer is pretty hard to find now. Here are some shots (sorry, several of them are displayed behind plexiglas, so glare and bad light). Also included are some shots of two Lionel traditional-sized AC dozers, in orange and yellow, and some comparison shots with the scale one (also shot in bad lighting - sorry). The traditional orange dozer is from a Lionel Postwar Celebration set. I customized the yellow one, which came from a commonly available kit. I painted it to give a better looking finish than the plain molded yellow plastic, blackened the seat, exhaust stack and exhaust manifolds, painted the hydraulic pistons silver. Lionel also made an orange AC traditional-sized scraper.
