Alps decals

Sorry if i offend anyone posting in this category... But looking for some help...

I recently acquired an alps 5000 printer to make some decals for my layout. Im using a laser decal paper that is suppose to work with the alps and i have even tried to seal with finish II. My problem is the printed ink scratches off easy sometimes just running through the rollers puts lines in the artwork. What am i doing wrong? I have tried searching online but came up with nothing, has anyone else had this issue? Thanks in advance marty
