Here is the original Gilbert instruction sheet. You can be the judge if these qualify as “good cellphone pictures.”

John, if you go to Chuck Harrington's terrific flyer website, here: https://www.myflyertrains.net/ you will find a link (among others) to service manuals, which has operating and service instructions, blow-up parts diagrams, etc. for ACG trains and equipment. I think he has almost all of the ACG 'paper' - you can download what you need.

The Harrington site, for some reason does not have the 18B/30B Operating Instructions. It does have them for the 19B and some other single handle transformers. It has the repair instructions for the 18B/30B.
Tom - you are quite right - sorry, I should have checked first. I've used the repair manual pages several times, but mis-assumed that the operating instructions would be there too. As a practical matter, the operating instructions for either the 17B or 19B transformers are pretty much the same as for the 18B/30B except for the single control.
