Hey guys, I was just sitting here looking through some tinplate info when I remembered this problem. About two years ago, I picked up a AF Double Header Set, and when I bought it, the side rods were off it. Not thinking anything about it, I took it home (auction was in Parkersburg, W.Va, which is about 30 minutes from where I live,) and got to work when I got to the shop. Testing the powered unit, I found that the engine ran beautifully, so I thought I'd just have to reassemble the valve gear, and it'd be perfect. After assembling the valve gear on both units, I attempted to run it, only to realize the valve gear seized. I've not had problems with valve gear before in O gauge, anyone have or know of similar problems?
