Disappointing, nevertheless.
I'm not surprised. Indiana's Covid numbers are through the roof. Over 2000 yesterday.
No surprise......but dang,......this was going to be the 1st year I could make it.....oh well, 2022 then......

Our daughter lives in MA. She told me that it was coming. She does craft type shows.
I'm not surprised, either. Will be the second time in 37 years that I missed the show!
I'm happy that the 2020 show was the last show i attended before the Pandemic.

Not sure how Indiana issues correlate to Amherst, MA, but I expected this would happen. Until we wrestle this monster to the ground, large gatherings are likely to be in serious jeopardy.
THIS SUCKS! NOw my next hope is April York. Any word on that?
superwarp. You just love to bring bad news.

Indiana issues don't correlate To Amherst, Pa. Just pointing out how bad it's getting here. I just wonder how bad it's going to get.
My favorite show and an annual event that I look forward to every year. I wouldn't have attended this year but expected it to be cancelled.

I guess I won't get to go to my first Big "E" show this year.

I bring misery to the masses. Well I’ll host an open house when there is a show. You heard it here first.

Same here. I am dying to go to a train show and was considering going to the Big “E”. Well, maybe next year.
It's a great show. Many dealers brings tons of stuff to the masses. I got to go once and enjoyed it. The local news was there and interviewed us.
I recommend bringing lots of money or have it available. I could have gotten many great deals on many things I wanted.
So when it reopens, don't miss it.
Went to my first Big E (with @MELGAR and @Arnold D. Cribari) in January and really enjoyed it. But based on my one visit (big crowds, some tight quarters) I have to agree with Gary... definitely the right call. Fortunately, I’m not a big train show attendee (as I’ve been telling people, I’ve been practicing social distancing for years ), so I think I can wait till Fall 2021 York or 2021 Big E.
Certainly no surprise but still disappointing. We’ll return to our shows eventually. Stay safe everyone.
