Amp rating for DCS chokes

Some engines or rolling stock seem to interior with the DCS signal. When the need arises what amp rating is necessary for a 22uh inductor?

I already have a supply of chokes for upgrading passenger cars to leds. What if an entire engine or whatever needs a choke(s)?

For rolling stock, it depends on what's being powered, typically they'd be rated at an amp or less. For locomotives, I use a 4A choke, it's unlikely a properly working locomotive will draw more than that. My Vision Line Big Boy with all the smoke features working and pulling 30 cars draws about 4 amps.
