NOw what are those Fugly white and black with red sripe sets and who are they for?
Those sets were built by Talgo for the proposed Wisconsin rail service, but the state cut funding after the sets were paid for. There is rumor that Oregon or Washington may buy them for extra Cascade sets, but who knows.

Having been to several railroad and rapid transit maintenance and repair shops I would certainly like to tour Amtrak's Beech Grove Shop that were formally New York Central's Shops. What group were you with that got to tour the shops Trainman52?
Why did you take more than one picture of these ugly talgo type trains? Whoever designed them should look for employment elsewhere. Next month I plan to take the tour of the Amtrak and Metro-North Railroad Shops in New Haven CT. with the Electric Railfan Association.
