Amtrak HHP-8 Passenger set 6-31779

Does anyone know if the Lionel passenger cars for the Amtrak set 6-31779 have people in the the paaengers cars? I know the cars have detailed interiors. This set was in the Lionel Signature edition cat. for 2009. pages 60-61.
