Every time I venture to the Traingineer Model Making Department, I'm blown away by the nifty new ideas turning into models for layouts that I get to see come to life!

Like the corral just added to the High Plains RailRoad Layout... just in time for the cattle cars

I created a collage of the corral - - > first on the layout before paint and then in the paint drying stage. I will post more pictures upon completion...

Hi Charlie!

Love the picture. The corral is really anywhere from the turn of the century until there were no more cattle cars... Looks like your cows are moooooo-ing for a TWX Corral

Having grown up in New Mexico with a ranch in Chama the stock pens were a familiar site to me every summer. Roger tries to ride the trains at Chama at least once a year and this corral was inspired by the stock pens at South end of the Chama terminus inside the reversing Y. They have been nicely restored and preserved.
