As everyone has guessed by now I'm a big New Haven Fan.  Since I recently got an American Flyer 4635 in an auction it had to end up in an NH paint scheme. Below is how it turned out

This 4635 came with a chassis that had a reverse unit so the lever that is sticking out the front is the reverse lockout. I could have and probably should have wired the reverse unit off and left the lever off but since it was there I made it work. Eventually I'll turn the body around so it is less obvious.   The inspiration for this paint scheme was the O gauge NH Lionel fantasy Bi-Polar. This locomotive isn't nearly as large as a Bi Polar but I think it looks good. Next will be some passenger cars to go with it. During the McGinnis era the NH experimented with some passenger car paint schemes that included white panels along with the usual black and orange I'm looking for pictures if anyone has any.

Finished another car for my new NH train today. This one is an American Flyer Club car in another of the experimental McGinnis paint schemes.  I have a coach and observation that will also get this paint scheme in the future.20220325_13415220220325_13415920220325_134203

The paint scheme on the observation is different as that was Pat McGinnis's Private car and I believe the only one like it.
