I'm planning on switching back to O gauge from HO.
Does Lionel make any freight or Passenger cars with electro couplers?
I haven't seen any in the catalogs.

Yes , from 1938 until a gradual phasing out starting in 1948 and into the 1950s with the magnetic coupler replacement.
Here is the postwar version:
Are there any other current cars other then the Legacy crane cars.
Lionel had released some cabooses (maybe in the late 90's??) that had TMCC equipped couplers at both ends.
The assumption was that they would start to migrate into all rolling stock but the cost probably squashed that idea.
The Vision line rolling stock has an electro coupler on one end of each sound equipped car.
I.E the Reefers have one sound car with one electrocoupler. The ethanol tank cars have two sound cars, each one having one electrocoupler.
Thanks for the info.
The Vision Line Cattle Car has an EC. Most of the talking caboose models also had electrocouplers.
What are the chances of finding replacement parts from one of the parts dealers ?
Replacement parts for what? I've fixed a couple of the sound cars with Lionel parts, the older PW electrocouplers are still readily available on the secondary market.
I meant the electro-couplers. I see by your post that they are available.
