My DCS is currently at 4.0 and has been running flawlessly since day one. No issues with creating lashups (Don't let certain people know I said that phrase
) no bugs have shown themselves, etc, etc.
I have not tried to change sound files yet but I'm sure that will be coming with PS3 upgrade kits in a year or so.
With that said should I install the latest and greatest? If yes, more than likely I'll do it at the April York show.

I'm not a DCS upgrade expert, and don't know the difference in features between the versions, but there is some truth in the old saying "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". I have done this before with other things with mixed results, but no trains so far. I have 4.2 and have not upgraded to 4.3. My current version 4.2 is doing everything I want (and like you said, with no problems). Some folks reported some difficulties with the new 4.3 version, but I forget what they were.
Now if there is a neat feature you are missing and want to add, that could be a different story, it might then 'broke' and need to be 'fixed'.

I agree. I only upgraded from the 4.2 to 4.3 because I was bored one day and was working on another TIU anyways.
