Does anybody have experience with the Lionel 6-38323 M&ST GP9? I see it has a pulmor motor,... with legacy? How does that work? Thanks in advance for the "enlightment."

Nickstrains.

See it here.

P.S. Does it have engine specific crewtalk and towercom?

Lionel made at least four GP-9's with Legacy including a Southern Pacific, Erie, Northern Pacific, and the M&StL. They are excellent runners with great sound. With some minor adjustments to the pullmor motors they can also be extremely smooth slow speed runners.

Lionel had intended to make other Legacy equipped pullmor motored locomotives, but these were cancelled in the 2009 catalog. The limited items they did produce can be difficult to find, particularly the Erie and SP.

It must be remembered that these engines are for traditional toy train operators/collectors. If you're a can motor millennial, you'll probably be surprised or offended by the operation of this engine.
