I don't think V was giving a smart answer. Think about it? They're heritage units . A paint scheme that causes all kinds of excitement not just from us model railroaders but from rail fans too.

And aside from Lionel & MTH in O, you'll probably eventually see Lionel American Flyer versions in S, in HO from Athearn and in N from Kato.

I think he was referring to the fact that there have been multiple threads about MTH and Lionel running the series.
