Not with the MassBay but we've been to the Valley RR quite a few times, they are a first class operation. Volunteers have been slowly extending the operational track north, haven't been up that far yet.
Did the Hand on the Throttle once and several times on their dinner train.
Should be a great day.
Thanks for the info - it's about a 90 minute trip each way from north of Boston and just wanted to make sure it would be worth the trip.
Sounds like it should be, especially with double-headed steamers.
90 minute drive? That's like 10 miles during Boston rush hour, right?
