It's been a couple of months since the pickup notices from GGD came out for the B&O Columbian Coaches. Has anyone heard when the coaches might ship?

They have been finished for a few weeks.. They are waiting for the completion of the FL-9 diesels so the Columbian coaches, 10 and 6 and 4-4-2 sleepers, and the diesels can be shipped from China in the same container.

Container departs on Monday, arrives in OAKLAND on FEB 6, We will ship them as soon as they get through customs and are delivered to our warehouse. They are preboxed in shipping cartons of 4 coaches, so we will just put the labels on them and send them off. Look for an email from UPS with your shipping tracking information, or contact your dealer.
The FL9s are on their way as well.

I didn't know the C&NW 4-8-4s were even in the production schedule yet.
The Third Rail website has a PDF brochure that lists Dec 2012 as the delivery date, a CNW H-1 web page that says January 2013, and the main page says Feb 2013 for the H-1 (upper right side of main page). So I am HOPING Scott has just been busy and forgot to mention they are coming next month.
Unless I missed a thread on their status? (wouldn't be the first time!)

As it stands, I will most likely have the C&NW H-1 sample at Chicago in March.
I can't even find the thread I just answered this question in....
The schedule of these projects change like the wind, but they are all eventually going to be made.
The C&NW H-1 is being produced and just last week the builder said he would be ready for inspection on Feb 25th. So they should be shipping in late March.

Thanks Scott. I usually search for CNW or H-1 once a week or so on this forum and didn't see anything. Knowing what dates are on the 3rd Rail website, I got excited when I saw that a container was on its way over to the states.
Can't wait to see it!

Any guesses when the rest of the Columbian cars might be made? Maybe over the Summer?
