OMG; I did not know that! Sorry to hear. Bill was a nice guy and a pleasure to do business with. I guess I did miss it. I have not been on the forum much in the last 8-10 months.
I gather no one stepped up to purchase or take over the business?

Based on a discussion about a month ago on this forum, many who responded were of the opinion he ran the business for the love he had for the hobby and the pleasure and self satisfaction it gave him working with and repairing trains. Rather than being driven to make a profit - it seems his business model was generally one of selling items such as those from Electric Railroad well below msrp for the same authorized dealer cost he purchased them. That business model seems to be one that nobody who took part in that forum discussion was able or willing to do.
