Older Legacy diesels I have bought, like the GP-7, came with warm white LED headlights that look like incandescents.  The new Lionel Legacy diesels I have bought - an F-7 and a GP-35 - come with 'cool' white LED lights.

I think the older warm LEDs look better, and the mismatch looks odd when MUing older and newer locos together.  Has anyone replaced the LED on a recent Legacy diesel with a warmer LED?

I've replaced a headlight on one of my F3 locomotives, and I had quite a bit of fun finding the right 'colour' LED to match the original and the MARS light.  Warm white was too 'warm' while most 'cool' whites were too 'cold'. I ended up using one described as 'golden white', which seemed to match the original pretty well.

Before and after-like picture... the RS11 on the left has the stock bluish LED from Lionel, and the GP30 on the right has the replaced golden-white LEDs

Eventually, the entire roster will be swapped.  Thanks, again, GRJ!
