I DIDN'T KNOW THIS!

When the AT&SF went into service in 1859, their route never did include a stop at Santa FE, New Mexico!

There was a stop at the small outpost of Lamy, N. M., which required a transfer to a short line which went to Santa Fe.

We live near Barstow, CA, where there's a Railroad Museum and an original Harvey House, which was one of the many on the Santa Fe route years ago. (Plus there's a Route 66 Museum.)

We're going there this weekend, where I can visit some old locomotives on display.

The original Harvey House (shown) is now an Amtrak Depot and ATSF Offices.

That's all.....

BAD ORDER

HEY LIRR,

You're right...George Washington was NOT the first President...he was the EIGHTH!

John Hanson was the first President after we declared our Independence in 1776.

Washington was not inaugurated until 1789...13 years later.

In the meantime, seven Presidents were in charge of the Colonies, beginning with President Hanson.

BAD ORDER
