SantaFe Jim posted:How do I explain to the family that we are gonna have White Castles for Thanksgiving?
Well, for starters you might come attired for the family explanation in an appropriate outfit.....
(P.S.......I'm thinking about wearing the same outfit, pal! Between year-end taxes, next year's home/health insurance bills, vehicle license registrations, year-end charitable contributions, gifts, groaning-board meals, etc., etc., as far as I'm concerned that ship of F's can do a few loop-de-loops around Hawaii on its way to the west coast! oof!!)
Happy Thanksgiving, though!

I believe the recent Trainfest photos showed the correctly painted Santa Fe F7 A unit in the Atlas display booth.

I wonder how they were able to make the "corrections" to that sample unit between York and Milwaukee Trainfest?

hibar,
Can you post a link to those pics? I do not remember see any pics of Atlas F7's from TrainFest.
Thanks

A full Trainfest video was posted on the Model Railroader website.

The model showed the unpainted SS grill I do not believe it was too difficult to either replace the painted grill or remove and strip the paint on the grill in house, beyond the grill I did not notice anything else, there was no B unit pictured, I think Atlas stated this was a simple assy change for the correct position of the body mtg ladders. Also you can see the video on the Atlas facebook page near the end they show the O gauge models.
