Received my copy 2 days ago, good looking all inclusive 274 page catalog.  Question page 187 is titled O Trainman Dash 8-40 CW.  However page 188 is titled O Master Dash 8-40, I'm assuming 1 of these pages is a misprint.  Which product line will these engines be sold as,  the prices are $70 lower than your January - June 2015 catalog.  Also missing is the Amtrak Dash 8-32BWH, shown in your 2015 catalog page 87.   Thank you in advance for the clarification.

The mention on page 188 of the "Master" Dash 8-40CW is a typo.  The Dash 8-40CW is correctly described as a "Trainman" model on the previous page.

The price has not changed; I believe you are confusing the Dash 8-40CW with the Dash 8-40B/BW/BWH model in the previous catalog.  That model is not listed in the current catalog since delivery is planned for the second half of 2016.

Rob:

I noted that in the initial product announcement some time ago, a BCRail version of this engine was planned but then not offered.

Per this announcement, that leaves us with 3 western roads for this model (UP, BNSF, Santa Fe) and one eastern road (CSX).

All of these are re-runs of the 2004 release of this fine loco.

The burning question is: What do us poor Providence & Worcester fans have to do get a reissue of the P&W version of this engine?  It's just paint and masking, not a whole new set of tools....pretty please?

Hopefully,

Steven J. Serenska
