This is to alert any interested that I opened the box and found that my new, recently released Atlas O Cal Zephyr Dome Chair Car "Silver Bronco" #3001152-1 has been erroneously marked for the CB&Q rather than the D&RGW. The four road name signs. 1 on each end on both sides.
Called my dealer. He informed me that he'd just found out from Atlas O that it's a factory error on all of these cars. Atlas O has ordered the correct D&RGW signs and will be distributing them to all in need. In my case my dealer is providing the four replacements. He tells me they are not glued in place. Just pop off the erroneous ones with a small screwdriver and press the correct ones into the holes in the car body.
These are beautiful cars and Atlas O has stepped out smartly to fix this. Thanks, Atlas O for the cars and the quick fix.
