I have several Atlas O steam era classics hoppers. They are excellent highly detailed models. With that said, the details are VERY fragile/prone to breakage.
Plastic cement does not work and CA is a challenge also when repairing.
Perhaps they are ABS?
Has any had success with other glues/solvents?

You might try epoxy.

I would try Canopy glue. Works beautifully on plastics and other materials, dries totally clear with no sheen like Elmer’s.

Tell me more about this “Canopy “ glue! Sounds ideal for gluing small parts on Engines! It dries clear and with no sheen! Where can I get it?
