Very nice!!!  I have the F3 D&RG bumble bee paint scheme on order, and will be very happy if they look and sound like this units.  Good to hear the improved Railsounds being used in these models.  Gives the basic F3 monotone horn an added presence the earlier models never had (and we were all getting tired of hearing).  Very encouraging!!! Thx...

David, the 2 rail versions have QSI sound in them not Railsounds. 

I think the silver trucks really improves the look of the locomotive. Very nice job!

imageThe GN Man is correct, the Atlas Rio Grande F7's have no steam generators. Just finished painting an unpowered PB unit to match the photos of the real one on Fallen Flags website. Apparently the D&RGW converted two PB's to run in trains that didn't have steam generators in the F's. The other converted PB was numbered 253 but it looks like it had EMD F-Unit trucks. Anyway, I enjoyed the research and project.
