I did get this working however; in your experience have you ever found with atlas's
switch track that the center screw was no the 'hot' connection?
I have basically so far in connecting to the AIU, that the motors do no trip, however when connected to a different SW that switch track works. All of my trouble shooting seems to imply that the motors are bad out of the box. I understand that replacing the motors is not difficult.
Atlas twin coil switch machines have always had the center contact as "ground/common" --- I never wired them that way. I always had the center connection as "hot", so my wiring is reversed from the Atlas way. I did this because I use a Capacitive discharge circuit that puts the "hot" DC volts on the common connection of the twin coils.
