I need some ideas for attaching guardrails inside the running rails on a bridge. The basic problem is that the track is from Microengineering and has Delrin ties, to which nothing will stick. I forgot to add any wood ties between the Delrin ones when I laid the track on the bridge so I have nothing to spike the code 125 guardrails to. Ideas or solutions would be appreciated.

Measure the diameter of your spikes and select a drill bit a bit smaller. Drill a hole where you want the spike. Then insert the spike. If the hole is small enough, it will hold quite well. Some experimentation may be necessary.

And you might also dip the spike in Goo prior to inserting the spike into the hole.
You should have pretty good luck drilling a tiny hole. Delrin is friendly to machining. I don't know if friction will hold it but it's worth a try. Measure three times and drill a smaller hole than you need.
Thanks for these ideas about drilling and spiking. The guardrails aren't merely decorative so the spikes would probably be sufficient. I'll experiment on some other sections of track.
if spiking is not an option. use Weldwood contact cement applied with a toothpick.
Thank you -- I will try the Weldwood contact cement. I meant to say in my earlier post that the guard rails "are" merely decorative.
