You get what you pay for. Have you made your own from Sedam plants? For the price of a couple cans of aerosol paints, 15 fathoms of thin wire, and some artificial grass and clumps you can make three to four hundred good looking trees. John in Lansing, ILL
IMHO, their tree product line is very good....for HO, N scales. Since I prefer to mimic nature when it comes to trees, the bigger (taller) the better.....for O scale. Some of their largest conifers are suitable, but not the deciduous varieties.....again, just MHO.
I like making my own....a variety of natural and commercial armatures, fine branch structure materials ('Super Trees' from Scenic Express, e.g.), coarse foliage, fine foliage, foams and finely shredded paper, different colors. Even 'dead' trees.......we have LOTS of ash borer victims around here!!!
That said, I'm hoping a bunch of helpers like this....
...show up at my door someday.....ready to make a bazillion trees suitable for the layout!!!!
