After stop buying MTH loco 16 years ago back in the fold - just think MTH locos are more suitable for running in conventional mode - using a Z1000 transformer. They smoke well, can activate many remote features using bell/horn, and the cruise control is second to none. Many Rail King diesels are scale - just less detailed. So now I am running my new PRR C628 with a 19 years old PRR N5C yellow coupler - how cool.
