Very Nice John! What radius is the curve under the GN F7's? I'm going to be radius limited on my layout and just wondering the radius of this curve. It looks very good the way you have set it up. That is one of the strong points of "S" scale that drew me to it.....you can run smaller radius and it still looks good.

Butch, don't know if I want to admit it but it is 32". Much more tight than I would like. See, my road ressurected an mostly left to rot part of theD&SL, which was originally narrow gauge...that's my story.
In reality, I would had to burrow thru the other side of the 2" drainpipe to gain 4 more inches. IMHO, not worth the effort. And, like you say, it lookks ok.
My double stacks, not so much.

Oh good! So I can have my F units back now? 
Jonny, even my crew hasn't heard those yet, we haven't cranked them up.
I'm thinking that it is time to repaint them or re-adorn them in my road name.

Just messin with ya. Repainting is a must in S. I just love that Empire builder scheme. I'm sure they'll look good when your done.
