My latest film shot at Craig's awesome NYC-themed layout.  This time we are running his Lionel F3 ABA leading a long consist of rare Lionel aluminum smooth-sided passenger cars.   Honestly these are some of the most detailed 70' passenger cars I've seen in O gauge.   I'm running my Lionel B&O TMCC EM-1 with a string of fishbelly hoppers.  I love this EM-1 model for its size, dual speakers, detail and value.   Hope you enjoy this transitions period themed video.   And yes, thats a Lionel Visionline 1218 sneaking in to some shots.   It's the star of my next video so please like and subscribe.

Great video!! That's what I want my primary 2 trains to be. EM-1 pulling coal, and the Columbian. I've got those passenger cars and almost enough hoppers, just need the rest. Thanks for posting this.

Nice video !  What is the distance center rail to center rail on the section thru the Hellgate bridge.  Any problems with Caboose lanterns hitting the sides ?

No problems w/caboose lanterns hitting the sides.  Don’t remember center rail distances. BUT, the track ties on the Atlas O track is against the bridge base on both sides as you can see in the picture.  Would  need to measure to correctly answer distance between center rails. Had no problems w/any clearances.

Hey I'm glad you enjoyed the video.   I've been trying to produce clips that while may not be 100% prototypical but are plausible and highlight the layout setting.   O gauge offers film makers very detailed models, realistic sounds and if shot from rail height you don't see the third rail.   I'm lucky to be able to run my trains on such a nice layout as Craig's South Fork.   I'm hoping to do Harpers Ferry with at least as much detail as he did midtown NYC.   Thanks to all that have subscribed to my YouTube channel.   As of this post I'm just 5 subs shy of 400.   I know that's not much but I appreciate the comments and it encourages me to share more content.
