Thank you!!! I wrote in late May to this forum about a problem I was having with my newly purchased Legacy System in that the the base was not communicating with the cab, or "base not found".
I now believe the problem was likely not the Legacy base antenna connection nor the antenna as I had originally believed, but rather a software problem. After receiving from the store I purchased the unit a new base and antenna, I attached the new antenna to the new Legacy base, and unfortunately, the system still had an error that the cab could not communicate with the base, just as before.
On this site, a member reported that they had a similar problem, and discovered the programs were not installed. As recommended, I installed the modules for both the base and cab and this solved the problem.
So…. you were correct, and with much appreciation for solving my problem and responding so timely with kindness. Thanks also to all who strived to help me and there were many. The system is very fun and I am enjoying it very much!
